3 Credit hours 45 Contact hours Introduces students to the materials, techniques, procedures, and human interrelations involved in developing computer information systems. Includes the systems approach, fact gathering techniques, forms design, input/output, file design, file organization, various charting techniques, system audits and controls, project management, implementation and evaluation. (Formerly CIS 276.) Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENG 060 (grade C or higher) or equivalent assessment scores and Successful completion of CIS 128, CNG 101 (grade C or higher). One programming language should be taken in the final semester.
