2 Credit hours 30 Contact hours Offers instruction on the fundamentals of hydraulics and their applications. The operation of hydraulic pumps, pressure control, flow control, and directional control valves will be stressed. The application of hydraulic fluids, hoses, and fittings will also be taught. Students will disassemble, explain the operation of and reassemble hydraulic components. Diagnosis, service, testing, and safety will be covered. Prerequisites: DPM 100 and DPM 101.
