This capstone course integrates theory and practice as students participate in a four-week Preceptorship. Preceptorships are provided in a variety of settings, including acute care, specialty care, and community-based care, where students will demonstrate first level management skills in providing care for groups of clients/patients. Course content emphasizes leadership and management concepts. This course finalizes the preparation of students to practice at the Associate Degree Nurse level.
