The second term of a two-term sequence in introductory psychology, covering emotion, motivation, intelligence, personality theory, health psychology, abnormal psychology, therapies, and social psychology. Course taught from a sociocultural approach which assumes that gender, culture, and ethnicity are essential to understanding behavior, thought, and emotion. Meets cultural diversity requirements for Associate Degree. Recommended: PSY 201 or 201A. Prerequisite: Placement in WR 121 or completion of WR 115 with a "C" or better.
