This course provides an examination of the causes and consequences of social inequality. Of particular focus is how class, race, and gender determine the distribution of and access to power, prestige, and wealth. Classical, contemporary, and comparative analysis of inequality are considered. Note: SOC 121 is recommended but not required to enroll in this course. Prerequisite: Language Proficiency IAI: S7 904D
