This course provides an introduction to Real Estate law and practice. Topics include property rights, types of land ownership, purchase and sales of real property, land use regulations, and issues in the landlord-tenant relationship. The course examines the role of the paralegal in relation to the supervising attorney and prepares the student to draft deeds, contracts, and leases. Prerequisite: PLS 110
