This course provides an overview of Bankruptcy law and procedures. It covers commencement of a case, preparation of schedules, operating and liquidating procedures, adversary matters and litigation in bankruptcy court, debtors' and creditors' rights and obligations, and technical terminology. Proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code are covered. The student will learn to draft the schedules needed for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 filings. Prerequisite: PLS 110
