For the non-music major, Music Fundamentals emphasizes the basic skills of reading, writing, and playing music. By the end of the course each student will be able to play basic melodies, chords, and rhythms on such instruments as the recorder, drums, bells, and piano. Additional instruments may be added. This course does not equal MUSC 1030. 2 hours lecture.
