A classroom and hands on course, designed for personnel who have or may have the responsibility as an apparatus engineer. This subject covers preventive maintenance, pumps and controls, water supply, pump testing, and hydraulics. The course is designed to meet the Office of the State Fire Marshal, and NFPA 1001 requirements, except for driving requirements that must be met by the individual department. Prerequisite: FST 111
