This course will examine the concepts of writing an emergency operating plan and the elements necessary for inclusion in the plan (all-risk hazard planning). Students will begin with the process for identifying local hazards. Using groups, they will analyze their hazard assessments and write a basic plan. The groups will present their plans to the class for critique. Actual emergency plans will be used to illustrate the planning requirements and results. Prerequisite: Language Proficiency
