This course is an introduction to Web page design and creation using Web design software programs. Students will also gain a fundamental knowledge of HTML and XHTML. Students will study: using graphics, sound, video, animation, and other media elements, and scripts to enhance their Web pages, and using Cascading Style Sheets for the look and feel. Students will become familiar with the basic concepts of Web design and color with an emphasis on designing for visual appeal and user-friendly navigation. Students will also leave the course with the skills to publish and maintain their Web sites. Prerequisite: DMD 115 or consent of instructor Course fee
