In this course, students will learn what a Programmable Logic Controller is, how a PLC works, and how to install a PLC in an automated system. Students will also learn the basics of programming a PLC using a relay ladder logic and Boolean functions. Troubleshooting systems with PLC's will also be studied. Note: Recommended preparation EET 170 and ELC 172 or equivalent knowledge. Course fee
