This course is an overview of developing and designing interactive presentations, animations and web sites using an industry relevant, vector-based interactive animation program. Topics covered include storyboarding, 2D animation, scripting, navigational mapping and motion graphics. Upon completion of the course students should be able to design and create interactive presentations utilizing animations, audio, video, and navigational components incorporated into CD ROM, DVD and web technologies. In addition to learning the technical capabilities of the software, students will discuss Multimedia theory, concepts of interactive art and design, and the role interactive animation plays in the world of web interactivity. Prerequisite: DMD 111, DMD 116, and DMD 216 or consent of instructor. Course fee
