Descriptive lecture and experiential music activities emphasize the role of music in the early childhood program. The sequence of children's musical development and the relationship between early music exposure and children's cognitive development will be covered. Skills in singing, listening, creative movement, using rhythm instruments and playing the autoharp will be developed. Previous music experience is not required. Prerequisite: Language Proficiency
