This course prepares students to take the licensure examination to become an EMT-B, including classroom instruction, practical demonstrations and testing, and clinical experience. The course is offered at associated hospitals and fire departments in Lake County. Prerequisite: High school diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older (at the time of licensure) Corequisite: Current CPR certification (Health Care Provider Level: American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
