This course focuses on the analysis of financial statements by studying the individual components of those statements and how they are accounted for. Specifically the course will cover the accounting for cash, receivables, inventory, plant assets, debt and equity for both corporations and partnerships, as well as financial statement analysis and the statement of cash flows. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to interpret financial statements of businesses/corporations in order to assist them in making more informed business/financial decisions. Prerequisite: ACC 112 (C or better) or higher level financial accounting course
