Prerequisite(s): None. Recommended Preparation: ENG 100 or concurrent enrollment and RDG 110/122 or concurrent enrollment/exemption. A theoretical and applied study of leadership within the context of service. Incorporates an introduction to leadership, development of a personal leadership philosophy, the relationship between leadership and service, leadership ethics, conflict management, teambuilding, group empowerment, change management, and leadership through service. 3 hours lecture.
