Prerequisite(s):WLD 105 and 106 or permission of instructor. An advanced course on the shield metal arc welding process. It covers safety, equipment care and operation, rod and current selection. Welding to include out-of-position welding of heavy steel plate to AWS certification standard. 2.5 hours lecture, 2.5 hours laboratory.
