An advanced study of law enforcement policies and procedures essential to optimal performance as a federal law enforcement agent. Includes an in-depth study and practical application of effective casework techniques; juvenile, alien, criminal and field processing; performance evaluation; and effective application of constitutional, federal, state, and local legal principles. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.
