PREREQUISITE: MTH 100 or higher or appropriate placement score and a previous computer science course or equivalent. This course introduces fundamental concepts of the programming language FORTRAN. Topics included are mathematical and relational operators, branching, the use of input devices, arrays, subprograms, and introductory file and disk operation. Upon completion, the student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the topics through the completion of programming projects and appropriate tests.
