A course designed to introduce the student to the English translations of the first five books of the Old Testament. These books will be studied almost exclusively rather than studying a textbook about them. The biblical account of the early history of man's origins will be studied along with principles of ethic conduct taught therein. Doctrinal and theological issues are purposely avoided in order that we might not be side-tracked from the literature of the Pentateuch. Fulfills: Humanities Requirement
