This course consists of individual projects in community service, library or empirical research projects in the community, research under faculty guidance and supervision. Individual work might include significant research projects in the community, research into the historical development of social problems, and operating or participating in a community service project. In each instance a quality paper would be expected, and instructor's prior approval of the project would be necessary. RESTRICTION: SOCI 1100 Introduction to Sociology or Consent of Instructor.
