The personal and social influences on the moral development of adolescents is discussed. Positive parental attitudes toward adolescent moral development are presented and guidance techniques for specific moral development problems are outlined. Considerable discussion and outside speakers are utilized in discussions of adolescent drug use and abuse, premarital sex and unwed mothers. Students should gain some insight into the reasons for present day moral trends among adolescents and some helps in guiding adolescents toward acceptable moral standards.
