This course includes a review of the common errors of English usage, sentence combining, and the opportunity to study the various forms of paragraph development. Emphasis will be placed on the use of good writing skills in the workplace and in academic areas. This course may not be used to satisfy general education requirements. Students must earn a grade of "C"" or higher before enrolling in EN 1200English Composition I. Prerequisite: A score of 14 on the English portion of the ACT, 38 to 44 on the ASSET, 42 to 74 on COMPASS; or a grade of "C" or higher on CP 02003 College WritingSkills.
