Students perform dental assisting duties in off campus facilities under the supervision of a dentist and his/her staff. This course begins with the start of the summer semester with students performing clinical training in dental specialty offices and general offices for approximately eight hours a day. During the last semester of the year, the student will finish the clinical practice in one office, Monday through Thursday of each week for eight weeks.
