This course is designed to provide the student with a broad knowledge based on how to design a program for children developing both typically and atypically. The course provides the opportunity to plan environments that are physically and emotionally secure. The students will plan and implement activities that are age, stage and culturally appropriate for chidren from birth to age five. The course content is based upon guidelines established by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Reognition.
