This course introduces students to various industrial water treatment processes, as well as basic requirements and procedures for an air pollution control program. Treatment processes covered include boiler water, cooling water, and wastewater. Students will study emission related compliance issues, pollution control equipment, and the calculation of basic air quality formulas and associated sampling. This course also explores noise level measurement, reduction, and regulatory compliance.
