6 cr, 4 lec, 1 lab, 4.5 clin Focuses on the scope of practice and issues related to the practical nurse. Content will include care of individuals and families experiencing selected developmental and acute health-illness transitions. The content will include competencies to perform intravenous therapy and to administer intravenous medication as defined by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
