3 cr, 3 lec, 1 lab This course is designed to involve the student in the actual repair and upgrading of micro-computing systems. This course will instruct the students in the basics of computer troubleshooting and how to define and repair the problem in the most efficient way available. Software diagnostics and troubleshooting will also be used to determine hardware/software error components. PRE: CIS 120 and knowledge of a microcomputer operating system
