3 cr, 3 lec This course will cover specialized areas of the patrol function. Problems associated with and techniques for responding to crowds, riots, bomb threats, intoxication, hazardous materials, fires, and domestic disputes are discussed. Interviewing and questioning, use of force, and vehicle operations are also covered. This course will partially fulfill AZPOST requirements for academic certification as a Peace Officer.
