2 cr, 2 lec This course will focus on the development and demonstration of each participant's mental and physical condition, through structured exercise and classroom education. The value of physical fitness in law enforcement and the basic elements of strength training, aerobic conditioning, flexibility, nutrition, and back injury prevention are emphasized. Additionally, this course will include a discussion of the sources, manifestations, and techniques for managing stress. This course will partially fulfill the AZPOST requirements for academic certification as a Peace Officer.
