Introduces telecommunications technology and terminology and develops a broad knowledge base for a career in the telecom industry. Requires no prior technical background or experience in the field. Enables a student to gain a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications technologies and their applications and implications for business. Combines computer, electrical engineering and business aspects of telecommunications, providing a thorough, up-todate presentation of the latest technologies as well as practical industry applications. COREQUISITE: Employment in the Broadband Industry. This course is only available for students who are in a degree and/or certificate program through the partnership between Jones/NCTI and ACC.
