Designed to establish and/or review the basic ideas of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents. Additional topics deal with percent applications, ratio and proportion, and basic algebra. This course is required for students who score between 23 and 39 on the ASSET or 0 39 in Pre Algebra on the COMPASS placement test, o rbelow 16 on the ACT.
