This study of computer-aided drafting (CAD) will introduce the student to the world of CAD for engineering graphics. The student will become proficient in the use of computers to generate simple working drawings. The concepts learned in this course can be applied to many career fields such as graphics design, architectural drawing, and civil engineering. Topics covered will include CAD basics, geometric construction, shape, description, multi-view projection, dimensioning, and analyzing two-dimensional drawings. Prerequisite: Should be taken concurrently with MFT 101 or consent of instructor.
