Designed for students intending to continue their education in athletic training or physical therapy or those interested in pre-chiropractic or pre-med. This class is designed to provide the foundation of orthopedic assessment and injury evaluation, and covers special topics in the areas of athletic training. The student will have an opportunity to complete a project. Requirements include supervised work in the athletic training room, research on special topics, and the completion of a project. Prerequisites: HPE 134, BIO 102, completion or concurrent enrollment in BIO 257 and HPE 234, and instructor's permission.
