This course provides a supervised field experience in a childcare setting. Students are expected to demonstrate competence in the following functional areas: safe and healthy learning environment, and physical and cognitive communication throughout lesson plans. Students are required to work with or in a child care center with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, or licensed family child care home, or in a home visitor program during regular hours of operation. Observations and curriculum will be completed for the work site. Prerequisite: CCG 115.
