This course presents an in-depth coverage of the effects of chemical dependence on health, families and communities based on a holistic, bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective. The course is designed to assist the student in preparing to meet minimum standards for AAPS licensed treatment facilities in the State of Kansas and the requirements for Registered Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor through the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
