This course continues the application of mechanical principles to industrial production equipment with emphasis on power transmission and mechanical components. Emphasis is placed on alignment and tension. Topics include mechanical drive systems, couplings and alignment, clutches and brakes, linkage and levers, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Prerequisites: INT106 or Permission.
