2 Credit Hours 45 Contact Hours (Lecture/Lab Combination) Prerequisite: ACT 101 or faculty consent Corequisite: ACT 143 Covers surface preparation for refinishing including cleaning, sanding, feather edging, chemical treatment of bare materials, and priming. The application of primers, including rationale and use is covered. In addition the student learns skills for proper removal and storage of exterior trim and protection of adjacent panels.
