3 Credit Hours 67.5 Contact Hours (Lecture/Lab Combination) Covers wilderness theory, wilderness food preparation, map & compass, GPS, and back country wilderness skills. Wilderness emergency protocol will be addressed. Students will have the opportunity to practice and demonstrate Leave No Trace (LNT) principles in a hands-on setting. Upon completion, LNT, inc. will officially certify students as an LNT Trainer.
