This course will introduce students to entry level skills and knowledge of shielded metal arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, and carbon arc cutting and gouging. Students will also be introduced to welding the various joint designs in different welding positions with the shielded metal arc welding process. Welding with the gas metal, fl ux cored, and gas tungsten arc welding process will also be introduced to students.
