(Subtitled with the focus of the particular section) In this course, students will apply critical thinking, analytical reading, valuing, and information management skills to topics across the general education curriculum. Each section of this course may focus upon a different and specifi c topic, as indicated in the title for that course section. A seminar format requiring independent work, intellectual creativity, and academic rigor is used to enhance the students' transition to upper level college work. Prerequisites: Minimum of 28 hours in the Gen. Ed. Transfer block must include ENG 102 OR ENG 150 (or concurrent enrollment), CIS 101 AND MTH 110 (or higher). Additional prerequisites may be required for certain sections. ADVISOR APPROVAL MUST BE OBTAINED TO REGISTER.
