This course will help students develop better reading comprehension skills through lab exercises that include computerassisted and workbook components. Topics covered include understanding the main idea, identifying supporting detail, distinguishing between fact and opinion, drawing inferences and conclusions, and other similar topics. Students should report to the Speckman Tutoring & Learning Center for a course completion plan. Enrollment in this course is open until midterm.
