This course provides an introduction to basic physics. Students will apply the principles of mechanics, energy, waves, matter and atomic theory. Laboratory activities will give students the opportunity to demonstrate physics principles presented in lecture. This course is designed for non-science majors. Prerequisite: C or better in MTH 110 or equivalent score on the Placement Test.
