This course will provide fundamental instruction in the theory and application of pneumatics and hydraulics in industrial and institutional setting. Course topics will include circuit diagrams and symbols, OSHA safety including lockout/tagout, power sources, manual control and electrical control of basic hydraulic and pneumatics circuits, understand and identify cylinders, motors, solenoids, pressure switches, proximity switches, and photoelectric control circuits.
