This course provides an overview of the large format printing and vinyl sign industries. It prepares the students to work with computer image preparation, material selection, and other industry principles, tools and equipment. It explores the design concepts, sign preparation, and application techniques on various substrates for both the sign and large format printing industries. Laboratory experiences support lecture content. Prerequisite: GDT 101 or permission of instructor.
