This course provides an overall perspective of the screen printing industry. It explores the processes required to produce various commercial products; copy preparation, screen and stencil systems, printing techniques, ink and substrate compatibility, screen reclamation, and fi nishing processes. The technical concepts and information provide a foundation for skills acquired through the actual production of a variety of screen printed products. Laboratory experiences support lecture content. Prerequisite: GDT 101 or permission of instructor.
