Childhood This course is an introductory course that focuses on basic health, safety and nutritional requirements of young children and its applications in early childhood settings. This course concentrates on the interrelationships of health, safety, and nutrition and their infl uence on the development of young children. The practicum component of this course requires copies of a physical, tuberculin (TB) skin test, and a Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Screening (within the fi rst month).
