This course is a continuation of General Chemistry I. Topics include: reaction kinetics, chemical equilibrium, precipitation equilibrium, complex ions, acid-base reactions, acid-base theory, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and nuclear chemistry. The lab emphasizes proper laboratory technique, synthesis, physical studies, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and data manipulation and statistical analysis. Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or better in CHM 111.
