One of the graphic designer's tools is the ability to create and modify pixel-based (raster) graphics and photographic images for print and web. This course is an introduction to the tools and techniques of industry-standard image editing software. This basic foundation course of image editing includes an introduction in the appropriate use of various electronic input and output devices such as scanners, digital cameras, and digital tablets. Prerequisite: GDT 105 or permission of instructor.
